26 September 2026 — quality and usability rebuild

  • Added a dedicated explanation of inputs, bands, worked examples, result interpretation, and limitations.
  • Rebuilt the guide index with accurate links and corrected its structured-data item count.
  • Added editorial policy, corrections guidance, and this public update log.
  • Improved internal linking between the calculator, guides, sources, and trust pages.
  • Reviewed the orphaned calculator fragment route and improved crawl clarity.

19 September 2026 — annual source review

  • Reviewed the England 2026 fee references against GOV.UK guidance, annual indexation information, and the underlying regulations.
  • Reviewed calculator categories, exemption wording, service-charge explanation, source links, and article review dates.

April 2026 — 2026 schedule

  • Updated the site’s displayed fee schedule for the rates effective from 1 April 2026.
  • Updated explanatory examples and the “England only” scope notice.
